The department creates an opportunity to nurture confident and independent life-long learners with the capacity to think critically and to apply problem solving skills in daily situations.
Our mission is to be able to encourage our students to solve real-life mathematical problems. They were taken out of the comfort of their classrooms to the other places of the school. It gives the students an opportunity to experience mathematics in the everyday world. Most of them reported that they have enjoyed the trail very much and that it helped them to see the relevance of mathematics in their daily lives.
